Blogging concern

I have a blogging concern. Giving out to much personal information in our profile. I recommend refraining from giving out to much detail. I leave it up to you to decide if you are posting to much personal information. I would like to know what you think? Blessings http://bibleqanda.blogspot.com Do you have a Bible question you want answered? Let me know, the answers won't be mine alone but will usually have the link included in the article.

  • Kodiak, I think you are correct. We sometimes think that just because we have this little circle of people that we don't have to be so careful. We all need to remember that anyone in the world with a computer and access to the web can view our information. Good tip! BBT

  • I agree with caution, but I don't think there is any trouble with giving out info, as long as you don't use your credit card.

  • I'll stear clear of my SS# (432-.....) and my CC# (550...), but other than that I couldn't care less. As a matter of fact, all of the stuff we give out as well as our SS#'s can be found easily online already.

Besides, once you start acting different, the terrorists have won! :p

  • I wasn't thinking about terrists, I was thinking more in the lines of preditors, molestors, etc. Just by the information provided on the the blogs, a thief, for instance can look up in a phone book where we live, where we worship, the time we will be at worship and can generally figure out how much time it willl take us to get home. Can we place our families in this kind of danger?

  • You know, I was paranoid once, but it did not do any good. One thing 9/11 taught us is that we need to be vigilant. Not afraid mind you, but to be aware that we individually need to guard our freedom and it is not the job of some other guys like the police or fire, it is our responsibility. On the other hand we need to excercize our freedom. In all things balance and vigilance are the order of the day. But with God on our side, who can be against us??

  • I was just teasing with the terrorist comment. That is a popular saying amongst op/ed types. :)

Have a great time at PK!!
