Because one man was faithful

This story is awesome!

Ed had mustered up the courage decided to use his lunch hour to share with a shoe store clerk that Jesus loved him. After a short discussion that 18 year old decided to give his life to Christ. That boy's name was D L Moody. D L Moody had counseled J. Wilbur Chapman, who became a minister, evangelist. Together they had a strong influence a pro baseball player named Billy Sunday, whom God called to be an evangelist. It is estimated that during Billy Sunday's ministry that 3 hundred thousand men and women came to faith. In 1924, while on a campaign in Charlotte, NC; the formation of Charlotte Businessman's club grew from his ministry. In 1934, CBMC invited evangelist Mordecai Ham to a campaign in Charlotte. At the meeting was a reluctant 18 year old who gave his life to Christ. His name is Billy Graham.

  • The phrase refers to the idea that a butterfly's wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that ultimately cause a tornado to appear (or, for that matter, prevent a tornado from appearing). The flapping wing represents a small change in the initial condition of the system, which causes a chain of events leading to large-scale phenomena. Had the butterfly not flapped its wings, the trajectory of the system might have been vastly different. (Chaos theory).

I don't buy into chaos theory, but I do like that reference. You never know what small thing you do today, may lead to great ones later...
